The Chevy Malibu is a mid size car produced by General Motors under the Chevrolet brand. Originally a rear wheel drive intermediate, GM reintroduced the Chevrolet Malibu as a front wheel drive car in 1997; it is named after the city of Malibu in California. The Malibu has received critical praise and was Motor Trend magazines Car of The Year. Kelley Blue Book named Malibu the best redesigned vehicle. Edmunds.com has also praised the Malibu interior and exterior styling, quietness, and balance between ride and handling compared to other midsize cars.
