This premium caravan minivan that competes with other vehicles in its segment, such as the Honda Odyssey, Toyota Sienna, Kia Sedona, Dodge Grand Caravan, and Nissan Quest, all of which offer similar levels of versatility, space, and features as the Chrysler Town and Country, but with different strengths and weaknesses, allowing customers to choose a minivan that fits their specific needs and preferences. Town and Country has received generally good safety ratings from various organizations, including the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). In NHTSA testing, the Town and Country received a 5-star overall safety rating, with 5 stars in both front crash protection and side crash protection. In IIHS testing, the Town and Country received Good ratings in most categories, including moderate overlap front, side, roof strength, and head restraints and seats. The minivan also received an Acceptable rating for small overlap front crash protection. Town and Country was discontinued after the 2016 model year at which time the average MSRP was $30,990. It was replaced by the Chrysler Pacifica in 2017.
