The Chevrolet Spark is a compact 5-door hatchback manufactured by General Motors's subsidiary GM Korea and is available in both gasoline and electric versions. The vehicle was initially developed by Daewoo which was purchased by General Motors. A limited-production all-electric version, the Chevy Spark EV was released in select markets. The Spark is Chevys smallest vehicle currently sold in the U.S. and one of the least-expensive cars on sale. The Spark EV was the first all-electric passenger car marketed by General Motors since the EV1 was discontinued. The Spark has a predicted reliability score of 85 out of 100. Chevy is an informal nickname for the Chevrolet brand. Some people use Chevy instead of Chevrolet when referring to the brand or its vehicles in a casual context. However, Chevrolet is the official name of the brand and is the name used in most formal or professional settings.
