The Dodge Dart is compact to mid-size car built by the Dodge division of the Chrysler Corporation. The Dart originally appeared over 50 years ago in 1957 as a compact and ran production till 1976. It has reappeared to the market completely redesigned as a mid size vehicle. The Dart has earned a good reputation and has been said to be one of the most successful cars ever introduced in America. Dart earned a five-star overall rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Top Safety Pick status from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Dart was discontinued after the 2016 model year at which time the average MSRP was $18,500.
