The Acura TLX is an upscale midsize sold by Acura, the luxury division of Honda, since 2014 and is considered a premium sports sedan. It is the successor to both the TL and TSX models and based on the same platform as the Honda Accord. As of 2021, the discontinuation of the RLX leaves the TLX as the flagship sedan in the Acura lineup. Popular competitors for TLX are the Audi A5 Sportback, BMW 3-series and the Kia Stinger. Some of the most commonly cited pros include performance, luxury, safety and value for the money. It is priced competitively against other luxury midsize sedans, and it offers a long list of features that are not always standard on other cars in this class.
