2016 KIA Sedona Minivan

The Kia Sedona is a minivan / caravan type vehicle manufactured by the South Korean automaker Kia. The first generation was introduced in 1998 and was known as the Kia Carnival in some markets. The Sedona is currently in its fourth generation, which was introduced for the 2022 model year. The Kia Sedona is known for its spacious interior, comfortable ride, and long list of standard features. It typically seats up to eight passengers, and is available with various convenience and safety features such as a rearview camera, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and adaptive cruise control. The first generation Sedona was available with a choice of gasoline or diesel engines, depending on the market. Later generations were only available with gasoline engines, including a 3.3-liter V6 engine that produces 276 horsepower. The Sedona has competed with other popular minivans such as the Honda Odyssey, Toyota Sienna, and Chrysler Pacifica. In recent years, the demand for minivans has decreased, and as a result, Kia has shifted the Sedona towards a more crossover-like design and marketing it as a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV). The 2022 Kia Sedona is marketed as the Kia Carnival in some markets, such as in South Korea and Australia.
