The regular Outlander is larger than the Outlander Sport offering more seating and a larger standard engine than the new Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. Competing in its class is the CR-V, Forester, Tiguan Rogue and RAV4, all of which are also considered compact to midsize crossover SUVs.
